How does parking work?
Sunday Parking: City of Boston parking meters are free on Sundays and legal holidays with no time limit being enforced.
Saturday- Friday: After two hours, you need to move your car to another City block. The price of metered parking in Boston is $1.25 per hour.

Near the Waterfront: Various choices, Most are about $40.00(+ -) for maximum time. At the Boston Common, our final stop, parking is also available. $30.00(+ -) Prices vary within $5.00.
What should we bring?
Water for you and your dog. Leash, no longer than 6 ft. Poop bags.
Dog Safety
Not all participants behave themselves. Accidents happen, and if parties involved feel safe, we all will continue the tour. If, however, the leash holder cannot control their best friend and the dogs continue, to show aggression, teams may be asked to leave the tour
Does it start and finish at the same location?
We start at 85 India Wharf on the Greenway, and end at Boston Common. Approximately 3/4 of a mile away.
Maximum number of dogs a person can bring?
One dog per participant.
How will I recognize my guide?
They will wear a "Dog Friendly City Tour" Baseball Cap.
Can we bring other animals besides a dog?
They are not recommended. Other animals may be a distraction to the dogs on tour, possibly resulting in undesirable behavior.
Can I come on a tour without a dog?
Definitely, regular prices apply.
Safety Matters
Please be aware that the guide may ask you to leave the tour for a variety of safety reasons, if so, please contact the office after the tour.
Cancellation Policy
Due to limited guests, we ask that you cancel at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled tour.
Can I buy tickets onsite?
Yes, but online purchases are recommended due to a limitation in group size and varying date tours.
